Aquarius/SAC-D Logo
[03-July-13] NASA's Aquarius/SAC-Logo highlights the mission's science and technology. The water carrier, Aquarius, represents the water cycle and its interaction with Earth's ocean. The ribbon in the Atlantic Ocean signifies the connection between salinity and ocean circulation. The United States and Argentina are prominently featured along with the technology their space agencies, NASA and Comisión Nacional de Actividades Espaciales (CONAE) built together: the Aquarius/SAC-D satellite observatory.
